God’s promise

If a person promises something and does not do it then, isn’t it frustrating? You will find many promises in places such as politics, your marriage, your work, your friends. These are often the case with our partner. To the couple, this is often the case when the couple is always in disagreement or the other person is always doing something wrong and always apologizing and promising that it will never happen again but he keeps doing it over and over again. For example, to a man, he says I’ll never drink, I’ll never gamble, but he still doing those. So do the women, they say they will never buy expensive things, avoid the jokes and gimmicks, save for the family but here they are yet still do those things.

Sometimes it is difficult to trust in the promises because they are not fulfilled and not for life. So we have the phrase, “promises are meant to be broken”. You can’t just blame it for being “just human”. It is likely that human nature can break promises.

Let’s not talk about promises that have not been fulfilled. We can only be frustrated and filled with negative thoughts in our minds. Let’s talk about God’s great promise to us. His promise will never change, even if everything around you is change. His words and His promises are forever. He is the same yesterday today and forever.

What are God’s promises to us?

God is always there to bless us. – In Matthew 7:7 says, “ask and it will be given to you.” That promise is will not be broken whatever you do because God considers us his children. Our God is not self-fish, He is indeed showing the sun for the good and the bad and all of us here on earth are sinners but He has not broken his promise that he will bless us. Like our parents we must communicate with God through prayers to tell all your dreams and all your needs and He will not hesitate to help and bless you.

And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. – Philippians 4:19

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. – James 1:17

Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD your God, He it is that does go with you; He will not fail you, nor forsake you. – Deuteronomy 31:6

God is always there to comfort us. – Do you still remember the time when you felt like you were sinking into your problem? The time you feel like you can never get out of your problems. In our problem there is always a way to solve it and the effective way is prayer. If you are overwhelmed with trouble why not pray to God, seek His guidance. He is there to comfort you, encourage you to overcome the condition. His comfort in us relentlessly and it is all written down in scripture.

He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. – Psalm 147:3

Show me a token for good; that they which hate me may see it, and be ashamed: because you, LORD, have helped me, and comforted me. – Psalm 86:17

And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. – 2 Corinthians 9:8

God is always there to love us. – One of the Lord’s greatest promises to us is His unending love. He gave his Son to redeem us from our sins which is a manifestation of unconditional love. If He does not love us then we are no longer in this world or angry and rebellious just what we see on a daily basis. We are not the same as God, our love is conditional, sometimes it is lost and replaced by anger. God is also angry but not with the sinner, but with the sin itself. So if we want to reciprocate His love for us then we should limit the act of sin. Let us live up to His good works and live His words.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. – John 3:16

As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you: continue you in my love. If you keep my commandments, you shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love. John 15:9-10

Come to me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. … For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30

In a world where there is so much promises, only God kept the word that “I would never leave you” God has a lot more promise for us and all of that is limitless. That’s just three of His promises. We must always remember that all of His promises are everlasting and He is just a prayer away from us. God bless.

HOME

Do you remember the place where you first dreamed? The place where your parents taught you how to step with your own feet, a place where you express your emotions without a doubt and a place full of happy and sad memories. This is what you call home and that’s where the story begins.

The meaning of home is different for everyone but the people whom I live with make my home unique and special. A house is a building for human habitation, especially one that is lived in by a family or small group of people.

But a home isn’t just a roof or walls or the things inside it. A home is a special place where you can go after a long day at work or school. Being at home is the best, whatever emotions you have. “There’s no place like home” is what people say and I think it’s entirely true. But a home can’t be a home without being together as a family.

Not all treasures are silver and gold. The most important treasure in this world is our family. It is God’s blessing to us. This is where love begins. A family is a little world created by love. Our Saviour was raised by a family, so God shows us how important a family is. Then if you love your family, you connect with them, communicate with them, make time for them and continue loving them. Because at the end of the day, it is your family you needed most and will help you to overcome all. They are your greatest treasure. They are God’s gift that lasts forever.

Smile :)

Psalm 118:24 – The Lord has done it this very day; Let us rejoice today and be glad.

Your smile turns everything okay. It is a powerful weapon that brings positive thoughts in our life. They say a smile is a curve that sets everything straight. There are moments that we feel sad for any reason, it is okay to feel that but don’t stick on it. Smile, though your heart is aching. Why? Because you are special, you are important. God loves you. And He thought the world needed one like you.

Sometimes your friend(s), your family or your loved ones are the reasons behind your smile. Be the reason also for someone smile. ⌣ Do not frown, you never know who is falling in love with your smile. 💗

There is always a reason to smile, you just have to find it. God bless you.

“But by the grace of God, I am what I am”

Grace is a gift from God the Father to us through His Son Jesus Christ. Because of Jesus, we are not under mercy but grace. To differentiate the two, mercy is though we are sinners God is not punishing us, and grace is God is blessing us more than we could imagine even if we don’t deserve it. Mercy is deliverance from judgment. Grace is extending kindness to the unworthy. So even God has seen the worst in us, He still loves us. He still can make wonders through us. He still blesses us and allows us to bear more fruit. It only shows that whatever happens God is good and nothing we can do that make us less in God’s sight. It says in 1 Corinthians 15:10, “But by the grace of God, I am what I am.”

Fear not, Jesus is our captain.

Mathew 8:23-27 (NIV)

Then he got into the boat and his disciples followed him. Suddenly a furious storm came up on the lake so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!”

He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.

The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!”

There are many examples of how God is very powerful among us or in nature and one of those is in “Mathew 8:23-27“. It shows how powerful He is and even nature He can command to stop. In our life, storm signify as a problem and captain of the ship is our Lord Jesus Christ. If you allow Jesus to manage in your life, all things are going to be right. And sometimes we feel that our boat is sinking because we lack faith in Him. Always put your trust and faith in Him no matter how strong the storm is. I remember back in colleges days my goal is to finish a bachelors degree but somehow we have a lot of problems in our family one is our financial status. I’m in 2nd-year college back then when my father told me to stop after I finish a 2-year-course because they cannot afford me anymore to go to school. After we chat that day, I feel like I’m losing all of my dreams and faith in God then problems are in my head, I worry too much. But then I pray, and pray and always pray, I also seek advice from my pastors and friends. The Lord gave me wisdom and living faith.  I did some work like carpenter, helper boy, I carried a basket full of mangoes and I did also pick up some scraps, collecting some empty bottles to sell in a junk shop to have enough money to pursue my dreams. In spite of every storm I suffered, I always look to God and seek His will. I gave all my dreams and aspirations to Him. I let Him control my situation, my life. He calmed the storm in me. And Yes! I finished my Bachelor’s Degree and now I am an IT Professional. All glory to God!

No matter how long the storm you suffering today, remember that God is with you all the time. He is not sleeping nor neglecting you. He is preparing a big blessing to you, just put your full trust and faith in Him. Give Him the steering wheel of your life and calm down in every rough road that you are passing through.  Don’t be afraid, you are in good hands.

Prayer is the cure for a confused mind, a weary soul, and a broken heart. Amen.

Is it too late for me?

Have you ever asked yourself this question, is it too late for my life to flourish? In my age and state now can I live better? What about my kids? How can I help my parents? Is it too late for me?

I admit, I asked that question to myself also now and then. Why? Because, many of my batch mates and friends during high school and college have had a successful life. They are now able to build their own house, own a car, and can afford to live and travel anywhere. It’s glad because you see them live a good life but there’s a little envy because you’re not like them. I also worked in a good company with a few savings, but that wasn’t enough to say that I could achieve my dreams. Is it too late now that I am at the age of 30? I always do double time but it seems time is not on my side. Is it too late?

Enough for self-pity, it won’t help you either and don’t compare your life to others. They will only pull you down until you feel yourself worthless. Do not be discouraged, stay focused and always pray for your dreams in life. God has a purpose on what you are right now and I know God’s time is perfect for everyone. Maybe this day is not your time yet to become successful or wealthy or what you are dreaming of. That’s what I learned while living deep with God. Also, I believed that God is preparing us first before He give our desires and answer our prayers. We should trust His timing and make an effort to achieve our goals in life. If He saw that you are ready and is a good steward, He will give what you asked for.

Take note, your little achievements is still an achievement. Do not be sad or discouraged, you are not left behind. Just be diligent, you never know you are also inspiring someone. Those you see successful in their lives, be happy for them and make them an inspiration to achieve your dreams. Plus, do not rush. Those who rush always makes mistakes. Enjoy where you are now but stay focused on your goal and work for it. Asked for His guidance. Do your best and God will take care of the rest.

He makes all things beautiful in His time. -Ecclesiastes 3:11

I am with you all the time. – God

Do you feel struggle in your life? And sometimes you feel that your road is blocked by walls of problems towards your dream? Having so, fear not! because you have the mighty God to lift you up. Did you know that God sometimes uses our problems and mistakes to become our stepping stones? Yes! He allows it to happen for us to grow and have great faith in Him. Remember the story “footprints in the sand”? This story will show you how much God loves you and willing to do all to comfort you and fixed you in times of falling apart.

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with God. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand. One belonged to him and the other to God.When the last scene of his life flashed before him. he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life. This really bothered him and he questioned God about it, “You said that once I decided to Follow you, you’d walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don’t understand why when I needed you most you would leave me alone.” God replied, “My precious, precious man, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you.”

Lesson: We are not alone even in the hardest and toughest times of our life. God is always with us. No matter what storm come into your life, and you think everyone around you doesn’t care, not our God. God is always there to protect and comfort you.

Psalms 46:10a Be still, and know that I am God!

Are you blessed?

We are asked by our Pastor, “Are you blessed?” Then he added, not all blessed with material things are truly blessed. You are not financially stable, yet you hope and pray that God will bless you financially, then you are blessed, God blessed you with a hopeful heart. Blessing is not only a material thing. It comes also in other ways, like love, comfort, protection, and healing.

Jeremiah 17:8 “But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him.

We are always blessed by our Lord, no matter how big or small, whether physical or in the way He saves us from any tragedy, He heals us in our illness, He gives us love so that we can forgive, He is willing to embrace us when we are sad and above all He wants to make us feel loved even though we are sinful. You are blessed beyond any measure and so let us return to the Lord the blessings He has bestowed. Help others and Give thanks by going to church.

Albert Einstein ft. KFC

Do you ever feel that you’ve done nothing but wrong decision in your life? Everybody experiences failure, even famous celebrities, NBA or PBA players, and other personalities. Nobody’s exempted. One of those is Colonel Sander or us have also more known in his KFC. Let’s read his inspiring story.

Sanders was born in 1890 in Henryville, IN. When he was six years old, his father passed away leaving Sanders to cook and care for his siblings. In seventh grade, he dropped out of school and left home to go work as a farmhand. Already turning into a tough cookie.

At 16, he faked his age to enlist in the United States army. After being honorably discharged a year later, he got hired by the railway as a laborer. However, he got fired for fighting with a coworker. While he worked for the railway, he studied law–until he ruined his legal career by getting into another fight. Sanders was forced to move back in with his mom and get a job selling life insurance. And guess what? He got fired for insubordination. But this guy wouldn’t give up.

In 1920, he founded a ferry boat company. Later, he tried cashing in his ferry boat business to create a lamp manufacturing company only to find out that another company already sold a better version of his lamp. Poor guy couldn’t catch a break.

It wasn’t until age 40 that he began selling chicken dishes in a service station. As he began to advertise his food, an argument with a competitor resulted in a deadly shootout. Four years later, he bought a motel which burned to the ground along with his restaurant. Yet this determined man rebuilt and ran a new motel until World War II forced him to close it down.

Following the war, he tried to franchise his restaurant. His recipe was rejected 1,009 times before anyone accepted it. Sander’s “secret recipe” was coined “Kentucky Fried Chicken”, and quickly became a hit. However, the booming restaurant was crippled when an interstate opened nearby so Sanders sold it and pursued his dream of spreading KFC franchises & hiring KFC workers all across the country.

After years of failures and misfortunes, Sanders finally hit it big. KFC expanded internationally and he sold the company for two million dollars ($15.3 million today). Even today, Sanders remains central in KFC’s branding and his face still appears in their logo. His goatee, white suit and western string tie continue to symbolize delicious country fried chicken all over the world.

At age 90, Sanders passed away from pneumonia. At that time, there were around 6,000 KFC locations in 48 countries. By 2013, there were an estimated 18,000 KFC locations in 118 countries.

It may seem now you are experiencing difficulties, downfall or you even feel that God turn His back on you. Hush now, God’s silence is not God’s denial. He may seem quiet but He is just testing you and preparing you to a much bigger opportunity you deserve. It says in Romans 8:18, “The pain that you’ve been feeling, can’t compare to the joy that’s coming.”

Blessed beyond measure

Blessed beyond measure.

.

And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. As it is written; “They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor; their righteousness endures forever.”

What does it take for a person to live in this world? food and shelter? money?

I think that’s the basic needs of a human for living. We must have food to eat and a house for shelter. How about the money? yes! people also need it for living. what if they didn’t exist? can we live? No! why? at the pace of our world today we need those things to survive every day. Who do you think gives us our needs? Jesus did! He is the reason why you are blessed with your needs.  God blesses us with our work and faith in Him. If you think God doesn’t bless you, you’re wrong. God does everything to bless us but the only question is how will you get them. “Faith without action is dead” He has given us the strength to work. He has given us the ability to create and do the things we need.
