If a person promises something and does not do it then, isn’t it frustrating? You will find many promises in places such as politics, your marriage, your work, your friends. These are often the case with our partner. To the couple, this is often the case when the couple is always in disagreement or the other person is always doing something wrong and always apologizing and promising that it will never happen again but he keeps doing it over and over again. For example, to a man, he says I’ll never drink, I’ll never gamble, but he still doing those. So do the women, they say they will never buy expensive things, avoid the jokes and gimmicks, save for the family but here they are yet still do those things.
Sometimes it is difficult to trust in the promises because they are not fulfilled and not for life. So we have the phrase, “promises are meant to be broken”. You can’t just blame it for being “just human”. It is likely that human nature can break promises.
Let’s not talk about promises that have not been fulfilled. We can only be frustrated and filled with negative thoughts in our minds. Let’s talk about God’s great promise to us. His promise will never change, even if everything around you is change. His words and His promises are forever. He is the same yesterday today and forever.

What are God’s promises to us?
God is always there to bless us. – In Matthew 7:7 says, “ask and it will be given to you.” That promise is will not be broken whatever you do because God considers us his children. Our God is not self-fish, He is indeed showing the sun for the good and the bad and all of us here on earth are sinners but He has not broken his promise that he will bless us. Like our parents we must communicate with God through prayers to tell all your dreams and all your needs and He will not hesitate to help and bless you.
And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. – Philippians 4:19
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. – James 1:17
Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD your God, He it is that does go with you; He will not fail you, nor forsake you. – Deuteronomy 31:6
God is always there to comfort us. – Do you still remember the time when you felt like you were sinking into your problem? The time you feel like you can never get out of your problems. In our problem there is always a way to solve it and the effective way is prayer. If you are overwhelmed with trouble why not pray to God, seek His guidance. He is there to comfort you, encourage you to overcome the condition. His comfort in us relentlessly and it is all written down in scripture.
He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. – Psalm 147:3
Show me a token for good; that they which hate me may see it, and be ashamed: because you, LORD, have helped me, and comforted me. – Psalm 86:17
And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. – 2 Corinthians 9:8
God is always there to love us. – One of the Lord’s greatest promises to us is His unending love. He gave his Son to redeem us from our sins which is a manifestation of unconditional love. If He does not love us then we are no longer in this world or angry and rebellious just what we see on a daily basis. We are not the same as God, our love is conditional, sometimes it is lost and replaced by anger. God is also angry but not with the sinner, but with the sin itself. So if we want to reciprocate His love for us then we should limit the act of sin. Let us live up to His good works and live His words.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. – John 3:16
As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you: continue you in my love. If you keep my commandments, you shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love. – John 15:9-10
Come to me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. … For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. – Matthew 11:28-30
In a world where there is so much promises, only God kept the word that “I would never leave you” God has a lot more promise for us and all of that is limitless. That’s just three of His promises. We must always remember that all of His promises are everlasting and He is just a prayer away from us. God bless.
